D. Bernard Webster is a dynamic practitioner in entrepreneurship education having trained more than 10,000 micro-entrepreneur/startup founders across New York City and Northern New Jersey since 2009. Specializing in small business development, digital marketing, and social media best practices, Webster has appeared at the Pivot Conference and is a featured marketing expert at Black Enterprise Small Business University. Webster has also been recognized with (2) Congressional TEC Champion Awards for Pioneering Technology & Literacy in Urban Communities (2004, 2005), securing and administering nearly $6 million in public and private grants.
For nearly two decades, Webster has worked as an organizational catalyst and change agent, delivering results-driven solutions as a marketing strategist, fundraiser, entrepreneurship educator and nonprofit executive. Currently Chief Innovation Officer for boutique marketing strategy firm, contributing to business development development to go-to-market activities. Currently Adjunct Faculty at the SUNY Global Center and Executive Director of the Center for Entrepreneurial Studies at the New York Institute of Technology (Manhattan Campus).
